Currently the max character length is 2048 characters for event descriptions. The max length is 4096 when you make a normal post.

As you can see here - http://forums.d2jsp.org/events.php?e=128344 I had to edit my description and take out all the names and post a reply because i ran out of characters before everyone selected a number.

Basically if you're trying to make a event for a raffle or anything with the max number of people (100) its very easy to run out of room and increasing the max characters to 4096 which is the max when your making a regular post (Trade thread, General help,) or any of the main areas on the site.

I think that it should be changed to quite a bit more.. The original event should have extra character space.
