The default option when adding a new picture :

[X] Private: Show this photo only to people on your friends list?
[ ] Enable Voting on this photo
[ ] Enable Comments on this photo

Pretty much on other websites/communities or forums the default option when adding a picture is public.
I got over 600 pictues, and pretty much all of them public. I always have to fill in the public option, so my suggestion is simple. (I upload +3-5pictures every week)

Default option should be :

[ ] Private: Show this photo only to people on your friends list?
[X] Enable Voting on this photo
[X] Enable Comments on this photo

Simple & would save a lot of time, no need for a picture or anything I guess. Hope everyone understand,

Well you might be posting something you want to remain private and forget to tick the box, imo it's always best to have a mistake lead to an excess of privacy rather than the contrary.
