Post count is what everyone is looking to have more.
Im thinking instead of just the count, have an "exp bar" and have a level based on how many post you have.

Something like
level 1: 0-100 post
level 2: 100-500 posts
level 3: 500-1000 posts
level 4: 1000-2000 posts
level 5: 2000-3500 posts
level 6: 3500-5000 posts
level 7: 5000-7000 posts
level 8: 7000-8000 posts
Level 9: 8000-10000 posts

Or

1 Level per 1000 posts

Etc
Your "xp/post bar increase based on the amount you post.


Positive: Engages people to post more and shows a more fun approach to the forum as if it is a game itself.
Negative: Would need a system to ensure the posts are good posts and not garbage (maybe like a like feature?)

There would be no direct benefits/results from this, and people would spam way more than they already do.

This would merely give incentive to spam and would cause for lower-quality posts just for the sake of getting to the next level.
