Deadlock is a new game made by Valve.

As it stands, it would probably fit into the MOBA section better than FPS(It's technically a shooter, but really a 3rd person shooter)

This game will very likely have steam trading akin to Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2. Likely skins for each character, more similarly to Dota 2.

Looks to already be very popular in this early testing stage and I've seen a few threads here and there about people looking to pass along the infinite/free testing keys and discussing the game.

The game will likely not release for a couple years if I had to guess, but Valve will likely continue testing it throughout development much like they did with Dota 2.

It's already predicted to be a big hit and have esports behind it.

I will add more information as it becomes available here, but I think it will be a good fit for d2jsp based on the TF2/CS2/Dota 2 market we already have and heavy interest in MOBA's.

Voted yes, tested out the beta (courtesy to you) and it has a lot of potential being a fresh concept of a MOBA shooter, let’s hope they have skin/microtransaction trading etc.. similar to CS2 or other MOBAs.

I'm not interested in the game but people will certainly enjoy it.

And yes it is classified as a MOBA.

But as the description on the steam page says

Some of those half-life assets may just be temporary. Especially following the leaks about the game prior to the August announcement.
