it can be about literally ANYTHING.

It can be a social experiment, it can be about music, it can be about sports, etc.

Only requirements are

-must have a research objective
-must be study/surveyable. Needs to be 25+ sample size.
-must contain 5 qualitative and 5 quantitative variables.

thats at least 5 items per quanitative variable
despite that you also have to get the qualitative results which is a whole other design of survey.
Thats a hell lot of work.

but you could do a happiness coffe use tea use water use and relate that to age and sex
thats 6 quantitative already (5 if you leave out gender) (and you only need multiple items on happiness too)
you could then go on a qualitative approach regarding the music they listen (list music styles)
the things they are happy most about
the things they look forward too and
description of their relationship/love life and
description about what they really like or hate at work
all of the latter you can also somewhat quantify later (as to number of items named and positive or negative or neutral)
