SAT - Math, Reading, Writing/Grammar/Vocabulary/Essay, 800 points each iirc - Essay may be optional for either test (It was optional when I took the ACT, but was not optional when I took the SAT)

As someone with a mathematical/science aptitude, the ACT is catered more toward me because 50% of the test is my strong suit. Consider something like this if you are debating which test to take. If you are strong in writing and reading, but weak in math/science, then the SAT is better for you.
