bottom line, i have to score near a 170 per test to get admitted in the college i'm interested in....
I'm wondering what 170 would be as far as grade average, like a A, B, C? also percentage would be better, like 70%, 80% etc

The 2014 GED exam uses a score scale of 100 to 200. A score of 150 scaled points in each subject area is the minimum score required for passing the exam. To establish a GED with Honors, a minimum score of 170 is required in each subject area.
If the scale is 100-200, then a score of 170 would be 70% correct, (which is either a C or a D usually depending on what school system you are in).
