Dopics are smart ear-buds installed with each user’s DNA identification profile. Through the use of predictive technology, bio-metric data and connection to the IoT, they deliver a new definition the concept of life music. Music tailored to suit each user’s own music preference, mood, location, weather status and any other data collected. The ear-buds are connected to the Dopic app within supported devices allowing the user to set his/her own music taste to narrow the scope of the new music they wish to discover and experience. Dopic ear-buds are the future of music, music will choose us, this means; easy choices, great music and a new way to experience music for all users.

The purpose of the Dopics are to tackle the problem of oversaturation of the music industry making it difficult for music artists to penetrate in the market (due to all the ‘noise’). They are aimed at the end-user, but they focus on the music artists as well. The Dopic ear-buds tackle the problem by acting as a filter for the distribution and the process of delivering the music to the user. Only the music the user wants to hear and that which impacts the user’s emotions will be chosen to be played and this will determine the quality of the music, thus music which does not make it will be sent back to the artist with feedback.

The Dopics give new or aspiring music artists a chance for their music to be heard and if their music is not being listened to, it will be sent back to the artist and they will receive feedback.

Thoughts on this concept?

Not possible imo. There's so many apps already trying to give people the music they want based on all kinds of algorithms yet they still play music you hate.

What does any of what you listed have to do with the earbuds though? Presumably the earbuds wouldn't have a built-in barometer and wouldn't know what the weather is, that just gets fed in from some weather service to the app. They wouldn't know the location, that just gets fed in from the phone's GPS to the app. They wouldn't know your music preference, that's saved on your phone or in the cloud and fed into the app. At best they might be able to gather some biometric data, but even that seems pretty dubious for earbuds. You'd be lucky to measure a person's temperature while still being comfortable to wear and producing quality sound.

I think it's already hard enough to create a comfortable but effective peripheral that would accurately measure a person's mood, without placing the restriction that it must also fit into their ear and produce sound. Just focus on figuring out the person's mood in whatever way you can, and let them play the music your app chose using whatever buds they want. The core of your idea is picking the right music, doesn't really matter what the user wants to use to hear it.

that is not a concept. its an idea.

if you could really meassure the mood location user by dna and "other data" that in itsself would be a thing you could easily sell to lets say apple or whatever for millions

then you would need an algorythm to pick the music according to the data. If you let the algorythim pick from a pool of music regardless of how famous it is (every music) then you need your algorythim to be able to sort music on its own (or you allready have highly tagged data).
That algorythim would be another thing you could use for spotify or whatever. It would mean it obliteraterates their mood "playlists" and instead use an algorythm which just doesnt exist yet

and then you would need to write an app would need to make it well known and apart from that would need to create the actual device (as in where does the energy and data come from, how is it processed)

and then you would need to concern yourself with security as this is highly personal data....
