I study physiotherapy and am currently working on my thesis.
I have an article that calls itself a prospective cohort study, but the methods used convince me that it is actually a single-arm controlled clinical study. The distinguishment between the two is obviously of importance when assessing methodological quality. I am assuming I'm at fault, a study would otherwise not call itself a prospective cohort study.
