I'm assuming by small things they mean like making sure each student has notebook paper or a pencil before you begin class. Anything that takes little effort or of very little monetary value to complete.

If that's the case then thing about my pencil/paper example

If the student didn't have those material they would not take notes work problems and may refuse to participate altogether this could cause them to not achieve your daily learning target.

These small things could spiral. If the student does not participate then they may feel left out from the other students and could begin to act out because they do not have the material. If they Continue to not achieve learning targets then the disruptive behavior will continue and change your classroom dynamic.

That question is so vague that I deem it unanswerable.
In what context was it asked? What class? Are we supposed to be examining anything in particular?

Every day counts is an important way to think of it. Working hard to get the most you can out of each of them. Making sure the student feels welcome and comfortable in the classroom to perform as a student is a biggie for me. I am hs math teacher

Could talk about money, I guess. How saving small amounts frequently on things like candy or pop during recess can accumulate to a big purchase. Alternatively, talk about compound interest. If you start putting away a bit of money into a savings account/mutual fund while you are still in school, it will grow to a significant sum in a couple decades.

In the class room, maybe talk about attendance. If you skip one class it feels like a really minor thing, but you'll miss out on learning something. If you skip more and more classes, the cumulative effect will become noticeable and you might start getting confused even in classes you do attend because you are missing some knowledge that they build on. This will lead you to not understanding even more material in the future, and eventually you'll end up failing that course.

You should talk about how you have a tiny weener but the cumulative effect of banging it against your fleshlight is satisfying, even when you do so under your desk in class. BOOM

Jeez, dude. Can't you at least keep your irrelevant garbage to PaRD? You can't help being a tard, but you can minimize the impact.
