I have a few questions that I need answered while also showing all work possible. EACH correct answer along with the work needed will get 60fg. I'll go gather the fg as soon as someone is interested

1) The function F(x)=2.54x converts a measurement of x inches to centimeters. find a fucntion g that will convert an area in square inches to square centimeters.

2)Find a symbolic representation for f^-1(x)
F(x)=3/(x+2)

More will be added in a few and I need these done asap

F(x)= 2.54x, where x =inches and F(x) = measurement in centimeters
=>[F(x)]^2 = (2.54x)^2
Now define a function such that [F(x)]^2 =: g(x) = (2.54x)^2 = 6.4516x^2 , which converts square inches to square centimeters where x^2 = square inch

___________BREAK____________________

Find a symbolic representation for f^-1(x)
F(x)=3/(x+2)

Rewrite it to make the solving process simpler :
y = 3/(x+2)

Replace each y with x and each x with y, then solve for y:
x = 3/(y+2)
=> x(y+2)=3
=> y = (3/x)-2 , i.e. f^-1(x) = (3/x)-2

last one, 150 total

the height in feet of a firework shell can be modeled by the equation h(t)=-50t^2+450t

question: Approximate the time interval over which the height of the firework is increasing and the interval over which it is decreasing using interval notation.

h(t)=-50t^2+450t
h'(t) = 450-100t
set equal to 0 to find critical points:
h'(t) = 450-100t= 0
t= 4.5 seconds

so height is increasing from 0<=t<=4.5
and decreasing for t>4.5

should be 180 fg btw
