Help With Finance/banking - Topic

I had asked for help finding recent trends in the finance industry however the examples I got were to short or irrelevant to the industry.
I need two upcoming trends in finance that will be or are BIG. I have to be able to find many sources on the same trend and explain how it is or will effect the industry.
I do not need the reasoning why I just need the topics. One I am looking into is the fintech upstarts and how they are effecting the big banking companies.
It is not easy finding big news in finance that is interesting but I need something to write 3-4 pages on and is a new subject matter.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!

It seemed like a great topic but all the pages i found were years old and it has to be 2016+ information.
