ummm wtf is biogas?

google defines it as "gaseous fuel, especially methane, produced by the fermentation of organic matter."

so can someone break it down for me? it is the gas from the poop tat comes outta our assholes??

It is basically just a fossil fuel that can be created quickly through artificial means (making the word fossil somewhat problematic).

artificial means... like man made/using machinery?

Well I don't have any experience with it, but I assume it is bacteria breaking it down, and it is prob done in some kind of tank so the gas can be collected.

It's the gas created through the anaerobic digestion of organic material.

Bacteria that exist in anaerobic environments (oxygen deficient) digest organic material, and release "biogas", which is almost entirely made up of methane/CO2

Man made "biogas" is typically made using anaerobic digesters --> Tanks with oxygen removed, and maintained at a temperature/pressure optimal for the growth of anaerobic bacteria.

Let's make this easy:

Rotting potatoes with bacteria under a controlled environment will create a gaz and later on alcool.

Use this gaz and alcool for power.

Repeat with other stuff or play Farm simulator 5.

Oh I am sorry I triggered your grammar skills by missing a "h" in the word that I wrote in english, my first language being french.

Yeah provided.

The shit is not hard, just do some research via google and you will find the missing informations.

Provided biologicals will "eat" the bio stuff and therefore create gaz. Like the rust in a closed area can transform the atmosphere into CO and CO2 via a chemical process.
