Please help me with this trig question

Let w1= 0.5, w2= 0.75, and θ= 1, find two vectors that satisfy ~w ∗ ~x=θ.

Equationt o consider: a · b = ||a||||b|| cosθ , where θ  is the angle between a and b

w1 and w2 are X and Y coords of the vector... In other words vector W is (0.5,0.75)

Well, the dot product is simply w1 * x1 + w2* x2
So you get 0.5x1 + 0.75x2 = 1

You need two vectors x that satisfy this. Pick two random values for x1 and find the corresponding x2 using that equation. Let's say x1 will be 0.5 and 2. Then x2 will be 1 and 0.

So you end up with (0.5, 1) and (2, 0)
