Prove that:
ab ≡ [ (a (mod m)) · (b (mod m)) ] (mod m).

maybe i misread it? we know ab (mod m) = a (mod m) * b (mod m), so doesn't that just become:
ab ≡ [ (a (mod m)) · (b (mod m)) ] (mod m)
ab ≡ [ (ab (mod m)) ] (mod m)
ab ≡ ab (mod m)
?
