Hey, so I guess I missed an assignment this week and didn't realize that I had a rough draft due, for a review by others to be revised. So, I need a 3-5 page rough draft with a few references at the end. It doesn't have to be perfect as it's a rough draft, but it can't be plagiarized, as they will check as will I. If anyone is willing to help me out, please shoot me a pm or post here.
I'll offer all the fg I have if we can do this by midnight tonight (mountain time) (7 hours from now).
LMK ASAP. TY.
Guidelines:
This is a college level writing class. The writings of oppression.
Choose an artifact of popular culture (book, movie, commercial, music video, or episode of a tv show) and think of how it is connected to one (or more) of the readings in this class (through the subjects we have discussed: race/class/gender). Once you have chosen your artifact, you will examine the artifact through the lens of the reading(s) you have chosen.
Answer the following questions as part of your essay (listed in no particular order):
-What is the main argument of the reading that you chose? How is that argument conveyed?
-What is the artifact's (book/movie/tv episode) synopsis (in less than 4 sentences)
-How is this artifact an example of what the reading is illustrating?
-What would the author of your reading have to say about the issues of race/class/gender presented in your artifact?
Your thesis will focus on the connection between the reading and the artifact (i.e. what makes this artifact relevant to the reading or vice versa).
Be sure to use direct quotes from both the reading(s) and the artifact. Use details and description, assuming that your audience has not read the reading nor seen/read/heard the artifact.
Your paper will be 3-5 pages, double spaced in 12 point font. Please use APA documentation for the entire paper, including title page, abstract, and references page. This will make the document a total of 6-8 pages long. For more information on APA format, visit http://owl.english.purdue.edu (Links to an external site.)
Examples of artifacts that would work well for this assignment (you can choose these, or select your own):

The movies Clueless and Mean Girls
The novels The Hunger Games and Divergent
