Just started this part of biochem. having trouble with this one.

I know the parent part is cyclohexane and there's a 1-ethyl-2-methyl, on it, but I don't know how to name the methyl coming off of the ethyl.

ya that should be right. boy it's been a while since i've done orgo. there are rules to determine which compound gets priority and i think the more complex groups get priority ( should check the textbook).

You also want to minimize the numbers so 1-iso-2-methyl is preferred over 1-iso-5-methyl.
