What is kVp and mAs? What do they control?

Kvp means kilovolt peak. It controls the quality and contrast that is produced by X-ray bim . At the time when kvp increases then contrast decreases and viceversa .

Similarly mAs means Miliamp seconds . It controls the quantity and density that is produced by X-ray bim .
