oh wait, does it just mean that the vectors are going in the exact same direction?

could it also mean that they're perpendicular or no?

it means they are in the same direction

they cant be perpendicular otheriwse the dot product would b 0

U dot V= |U||V|cos(theta) where theta is angle between vectors, thus in your given question cos(theta)=1 so there is a 0 degree angle between your vectors and they are pointing in the same directions .

that's why when u dot v = 0, the 2 vectors are perpendicular since the angle between the 2 vectors is 90 degrees as cos(90)= 0
