What are the problems?

Need to know the details to let you know if we are interested lol

1) y is directly proportional to x and that y=9 when x=2
a) Find the constant of proportionality k
b]Use Y= kx to find y when x=4

2)Simplify: sqrt(z^12)

3) a)Expression 9^(5/2) in radical notation
b] Evaluate the radical expression

4)Simplify Log10^7

5) Find the sum of the geometric series by using a formula 1-2+4-8+16-32+64-128+256-512

1a ) 9 divided by 2 = 4.5 , which is the value of k.
1b ) Y = 4.5 x 4 = 18

2) z^6

Not sure on 3 because I don't know what the term 'radical notation' is, might be an English thing...

4) 7Log10 ?

5) Formula can be found by googling and using the first term and common factor

3) sqrt 2 is the same as 2^(1/2)

so 9^(5/2) is sqrt(9^5)

simplified to sqrt(9*9*9*9*9)

root of 9 is 3 so you can "bring it to the outside"

3*3*3*3*3 = 243
