how do I make a relative reference. would that just be (example) c6 and an absolute reference is f4 or $c$6

i assume that's an excel question, not a sql question.

relative to what? if you want to shift the focus to the cell below when copying formulas, then c6 is relative. $c$6 is anchored. if you copy the formula down, then c7 will be used.

in this example for access:
c. Add criteria so that only those records with a ClubName field value of Boy Scouts Troop 6 or those with a CenterName field value equal to Rolling Hills Trash are selected. (Hint: The records returned by the query will fulfill either criteria.)

How would I write the club name criteria and center name criteria so that is would allow me to search for records containing either or

select * from sometable where ClubName = 'Boy Scouts Troop 6' or CenterName = 'Rolling Hills Trash'
