Hey all, I'm assigned to watch a historical film (preferably Patriot) and compare what happened in the movie and then what actually happened.

It's easy when you have to compare two different seasons.
For example: season A and season B

Season A:
social aspects
political aspects
economic aspects
cultural aspects
military aspects

Season B:
social aspects
political aspects
economic aspects
cultural aspects
military aspects

Then you compare both sides of history and finish your work.

Does it have be during the revolutionary war period?

Modern era like space would be a better and more well documented area

Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks in it was a great movie and I am sure you can find tons of factual info about that space flight

It can be any historical north american movie up to and including the revolutionary war
