Having trouble with this one, as the question kind of confuses me.
How does the energy stored remain constant if the induced current is changing with time?

The capacitor is constantly charging and uncharging in tamdem with the inductor. At the natural frequency one grows as the other shrinks at the same rate, therefore the total charge should remain constant.
