Explain how it is possible for someone to see a video of a person holding their hand closely over a burning candle without any damage?

Is this law of refraction + mirrors? or wha

Could be as simple as good camera angle and 2 candles one behind another, the back one being lit and the front one not.

When you place your hand over the first one (the only one that the camera sees), hiding the flame from the camera and the hand is unscathed.

insulation, and refraction are 2 things that would stop you from being burned... but i don't know of a material that would do that. As don'trunaway said, it could be an optical illusion
