I'm not asking for an answer, just need some help arriving to one. This is more complicated than anything we've worked on in class so far, yet it's my last HW question due tomorrow and I can't seem to figure out how I should approach it.

You are tasked with putting together the schedule for a new subway line. The trains are supposed to speed up and slow down at a constant acceleration of 0.137 g. The cruising speed between stations should be 35.4 mph. How much time should you budget for the travel of a train between two stations that are 2.12 miles apart.
Provide your answer in seconds.
(Keep sufficient significant figures for intermediate results to avoid rounding errors; recommended is 3 to 4.)

find the time for the train to aclrate to 35.4mph from 0mph and for the train to declrate to 0mph from 35.4 mph. with the time u calculate, find the distance travled. Then find the time it takes to travel the remaining distance. after that u just need to add up all the time to get the total
