Hey guys, I have 5 questions I'd like answered with an explanation of some sort as well. ( Need to show work , and I'd like to understand it as well ).
They are due in about 12 hours. I'm paying 20fg/question as I would like these done fast and I'm hoping that price will attract the stat-lovers out there :)
If you are available to do more than these, we can absolutely work something out !

**Use the sample of 30 students that you used in Lab 2 to construct the following confidence intervals. Please show your work or explain how you got your answers.

1. For the ____ (state how many) females in your sample, the mean height is _____ inches. Round to 1 decimal place. Use this sample mean to construct a 95% confidence interval for the mean height of all the females in the Combined Class file. Assume that σ = 2.5 inches.
2. For the 30 students in your sample, the mean credit hour load is _____ hours with s = ____ hours. Use these statistics to construct a 90% confidence interval for the mean credit hour load of all students in the Combined Class file.

3. For the 30 students in your sample, what proportion (%) are full time students (taking 12 or more credit hours)? Round the proportion to 3 decimal places so that the % has 1 decimal place. (For instance, if 13 of your 30 students are full time, the proportion is 13/30 or .433 or 43.3%.) Use this statistic to construct a 99% confidence interval for the proportion of all students in the Combined Class file who are full time students.

Note: When you report the confidence intervals, don’t forget to include the interpretative statement. For instance, if you’re estimating the mean number of miles a student drives to class with a 98% confidence interval, and you have a confidence interval of (3.5, 8.7), you would say something like “I am 98% confident that the mean miles a student drives to class is between 3.5 miles and 8.7 miles.”

4. Suppose you are asked to estimate within 0.1 inches the mean height of all male students at the College using a 98% confidence interval. Assume that σ = 2.75 inches. How many students would you need to survey to construct the interval?

5. Suppose you are asked to estimate within 1.5% the proportion of all Seminole State College students who receive financial aid, using a 95% confidence interval. How many students would you need to survey to construct the interval?

**I can pm the sample of 30 students ( they are anonymous ) data, if you let me know that you can do these 3.

1) We are 95% confident that the average height of the females in the combined class file is between 63.9 and 66.2 inches.

2) We are 90% confident that the average number of course hours taken by the students in the combined class file is between 5.87 and 8.33 hours.
