I have lived in Wisconsin my whole life and I'm honestly so sick of living here because the winters are so long and so cold

I would love to move somewhere warmer to finish college, I'm finishing my sophomore year this semester and will be beginning my 1st Junior semester this Spring
(in Accounting)
one of the biggest issues I have with transferring to a new college isn't not having friends or not having good enough grades.. its the out of state tuition costs!

california schools are asking for like 20,000 just for being out of state, can't do that!

does anyone have any experience with searching for affordable schools for out of state folks?

looks like you're in luck. a few colleges are only 4k/semester. dont forget you have living expenses on top of that.

i dont know if it's true anymore, but for a while, schools in california were cheaper for illegal aliens than for out of state students.

you can also join the military and they'll pay for your college.

Some schools offer out-of-state tuition waivers based on academics. I got in-state tuition for Oklahoma State University being from Texas because of a 30 on my ACT. They had bracketed reductions for different scores, 30-36 was the highest bracket, which was a full discount.

How do you feel about online classes? Does your school offer the classes you'd need online?
