How will the reaction for the hydration of NH4Cl, Na2CO3 and NaCl. Solutions are acidic, basic or neutral? Why?
example:
NH4Cl + H20 - > xx + xx ?

What are the by-products when AlCl3 reacts with Na2CO3? Which gas phase will be made? How do you set this reaction?
example:
AlCl3 + Na2CO3 -> xx + xx ?

I would really appreciate your help and if you know any videos or instruction to learn this better then link them :)

NH4Cl + H2O = NH4OH + HCl
acidic

AlCl3 + Na2CO3 = AlCO3 + Na2Cl3

Look at each in terms of what it's ion would be

(NH4 + )(Cl -) + (H +)(OH -)

Then swap anions and make sure balanced

OH and Cl are both anions, swap them around

(NH4 +)(OH -) + (H +)(Cl -)

NH4Cl + H20 - > xx + xx ?

(NH4)CL + H20 -> NH4(+) (aq) + Cl(-) (aq)

This is the salt of a weak base (NH4OH) and a strong acid (HCL) dissolved in water. This will produce an acidic solution.

AlCl3 + Na2CO3 dissolved in water

Na2CO3 + H2O --> H2CO3 + NaOH
H2CO3 --> H2O + CO2 (g)

This will yield Carbon Dioxide gas

Then

AlCl3 + NaOH --> Al(OH)3 + NaCl

And then

Al(OH)3 + OH- --> [Al(OH)4]- (aq)
