How many grams of solute are present in 13.0mL of 0.746 M K2Cr2O7?

If 14.4g of (NH4)2SO4 is dissolved in enough water to form 220mL of solution, what is the molarity of the solution?

How many milliliters of 4.65×10−2 M CuSO4 contain 3.35g of solute?

thanks!

1. n=cv
13/1000 * 0.746 = 0.009698 moles present

mass = moles * RMM
0.009698 * 294.185 = 2.853 g

2. moles = mass / RMM
14.4 / 132.14 = 0.109 moles

n=cv so c = n/v
0.198 / (220/1000) = 0.495 M

3. moles = mass / RMM
3.35 / 159.6086 = 0.0210 moles

n=cv so v=n/c
0.0210 / 0.0465 = 0.451 litres so 451 milliliters
