For you Econ buffs out there.. can someone please help me with this very simple question? I seem to have gone full retard and can't get the right answer for this question..
A semiprofessional baseball team near your town plays two home games each month at the local baseball park. The team splits the concessions 50/50 with the city but keeps all the revenue from ticket sales. The city charges the team $100 each month for the three-month season.
The team pays the players and manager a total of $1,000 month. The team charges $10 for each ticket, and the average customer spends $7 at the concession stand. Attendance averages 30 people at each home game.
The team earns $405 in revenue for each game and $2430 revenue each season. (This part I got right)
With total costs of $___ each season, the team finishes the season with $___ of profit.
For some reason I can't figure out the total costs.. I've done it multiple ways and must be missing something for implicit + explicit costs, or I've got the formula wrong or something.
Ty!
