I need to find the limit

X approach 0 Sqr(x+1) -1 all over X.

I got the answer as 0, but on the solution it says its 1/2 and I don't understand why.

how about you show your work on how you got 0 so we can point out which step you messed up on? 0.5 is correct

multiply by conjugate: so multiply limit by sqrt(x+1) +1 / sqrt(x+1)+1

then you factor out and you will get 1 / sqrt(x+1) +1

limit as x approaches 0 of that ^ is 1/2.

i accept fg tips.
