It being southern miss, state, or ole miss

Im a "honors" student, makes A's and B's and could probably make a 28+ on the ACT (30+ if i dedicated myself hard enough)

Im just curious of how it works, Do i just get a good grade on my act apply to the college and bam a full ride/ What would be the act scores required to get full rides to those colleges?

And i mean a full 4 years tuition, no living expenses etc

What is your ethnicity? If you're anglo, it'll be tough getting scholarships/grants/etc.

White

Assume i end the year with a 3.5+ gpa and a minimum of 27+ on the ACT

i just looked up ole miss, and that said a 32 would give me a 80% tutition reduction?

E: and my father makes too much money to get grants etc

then go for that. a full ride in general is difficult to get for white people. but if ole miss has some special program, you can look it up.

GA has (had?) a state scholarship which covered tuition + fees if you had a 3.0 gpa, which i used for my undergrad. iirc they cover a lot less now. it didnt include cost of living, so i lived at home.

Ya, you probaly need decent gpa with that act score for the standard tuition scholarships
cause a high act score with a bad gpa might not get you any university academic achievement scholarships
they usually go with table of ac scores with strict ranges
so whatever you fall in is whatever you get
