Writing a research paper and I need to cite a website within the text. What is the appropriate citation method? I checked Purdue OWL but I am confused.

I am wanting to cite this sentence.

Quote
Out of the approximate seven billion people living on earth, eighty-four percent have the ability to read and write.

The author is Kate Hammer and her article is entitled "Global Rate of Adult Literacy"

I also would like to cite this article again in my paper. How would the citation change to accommodate that second citation?

Thanks!

Use easybib.com for your cite it will organize it properly for you and don't forget MLA is needed in alphabetical order so change your cites as needed. you need the publish date year and date the date you accessed the information when citing in text just put According to Kate Hammer and say if she has a title like prof or doctor etc, the articles name, "the quote" (Hammer).

Yes, MTTonly4me's for MLA is correct. To reference it a second time, just use the same name (Hammer). It will be fine.
