#7 above 8 which was a completed equation is
use synthetic division to find the zeroes of f(x)=2x^3-5x^2+x+2
a. {2,-2,3}
b.{1,-1,2}
c.1,2,-1/2)
d.{0,1,2}
e. none
The equation f(x) = 2x^3-5x^2+x+2 can also be written as (x-2)(x-1)(2x+1) = 0 and thus the zeroes of the equation are 2,1,-1/2.
/e to determine if these are true zeroes (x=2,1,-1/2) using synthetic division, set up the synthetic division and see if the remainder is zero. If the remainder is zero then (x=2,1,-1/2) are true zeroes. If you need help setting up synthetic division pm me and I can show you/set it up for you.
