Im 18, quitted school, because of no motivation, probably because i have no idea what to do later. Somafter some research, i found some things about jobs related to law. So is law hard to study? I dont know anything about law yet, and im afraid to start studying law and not understanding anything. I have someone close to me that is a lawyer, and im sure she wouldnt mind giving me a hand if needed, but id prefer not to.

Sorry for my bad english.

Edit: im not saying this is what i want to do later, but it might interest me

It's not easy, but if you're willing to put in the effort, it won't be hard either. Just a long road ahead of you.

what career are you looking for exactly? to be a lawyer in the US you need a bachelors + law school, which is tough to manage when you have no motivation and dropped out of school once already. i think there are other careers in law that don't require so much. for example, a paralegal or legal assistant just need a 2 year associates i think.

law can be very tedious. lots of memorization.

Paralegal looks interesting to me. About my motivation, i quitted school because i dont know what i want to do later in my life, feels like im putting effort for nothing. But if i find a job i would like, than thats a good motivation.

But again, maybe im not going for law, it´s just an option. Currently trying to find more options but thats not easy

Law is not easy, it is like engineering where you have plenty of principles you need to apply in order to bring about successful analysis ...etc so to answer your question, if you want to do law, do it only if YOU like it. otherwise you will hate it because all you do is reading lots of books and writing essays.

I heard there are 10x more lawyers than Engineers in this country. In China...they got 10 times more engineers than lawyers.

I dunno about lawyers man...

There's a difference between quitting school and not going to university. It sounds like you just didn't go to university because you didn't know what to study.

Figure out what you want to study before you go to university, or at least narrow it down to a field (i.e. engineering, business), and then go get your general studies for that field down. You usually don't have to make a dedicated decision on major until after the first year anyways.

Find your interests first. If you don't already want to do law, it's probably not a good idea to invest 8 years of schooling into it.
