Identify and apply formulas for surface area and volume of spheres, right solids including rectangular prisms and pyramids ; cones ; cylinders ; and compositions thereof. Solve related context based problems.
&& use volume formulas for cylinders pyramids cones and spheres to solve problem.

Cade is planning a party for 50 people. He plans to buy one keg of root beer. A keg of root bee is cylindrical an is 13" in diameter and 17" tall. Cade plans to use mugs that are also cylindrical and 3" in diameter and 4 3/4 tall. Will there be enough root beer to serve at least one full mug?

Need full answer and written out why it was that and what you learned please.

V(cylinder) = pi r^2 h

V(keg) = pi (6.5^2) * 17

V(keg) = 718.25pi

V(mug) = pi (1.5^2) * 4.75
V(mug) = 10.6875 pi

10.6875 * 50 (people) = 534.375

Since 718.25 > 534.375 there will be enough root beer for everyone to have at least one mug

You have already asked that question here http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=70651953&f=257 and I never saw your fg...

i HIGHLY suggest no one help this person.

why?

as shown by previous thread, extremely rude to those that help him, (apparently not giving fg either), nor having any gratitude.

Lmao. I didn't pay fg because a) it was wrong b) it wasn't explained c) people had terrible solution and no work shown. I will pay in full

The keg will have a certain volume of beer in it that it holds, you calculated it via the volume of a cylinder formula

Each mug has a certain volume of beer in it that it holds, that you also calculated via the volume of a cylinder formula

....if 50 people want one mug each then the total volume of the keg has to be larger than the total volume of 50 mugs...otherwise there won't be enough beer

Im deeply sorry but you sir, appear to be mentally retarded. My "solution" is the exact same as above, and if you can't understand it then you need to consult a doctor or something.

you have a formula, you plug in the values, you get the answer. what is there to explain?
also there is a lot of work shown.

I also HIGHLY suggest you check out a doctor, since you have no common sense or logic.

e/ this is the same problem you asked 3 weeks ago.

are you graduating from pre-k?

This is geometry. I know answer but need to show work.
Pretty sure answer is 24.5570 fg question for right answer! Please!

ee/ as i mentioned in your old thread

you give a numerical answer (which is like 10000% off) for a yes or no question -- I think this is ample proof you're mentally retarded.
