i am looking to create a website for a band. i am trying to find a good tool/website to help build the files to upload to my ftp without coding everything from scratch. any suggestions?

Kompozer is like a word document that writes the html source for you. The program is free but I don't know if publishing is free.

Honestly, I think you're better off using a wordpress site. Can't get any easier than that.



I also like kompozer, it's a bit like dreamweaver but free.

But like all wysiwyg editors, it can produce some pretty ugly and messy code, as suggested better stick to a cms or actually learn some html/php
