Who Here Knows How To Use Excel or is a Microsoft Excel Experts?

my data (x-axis) goes from 0.023 to 953.996 in increments of 0.768

after i graph this, the x-axis is uneven. I want to display x axis going from 0 to 950 in increments of 50, but none of my data are at these points

for example:

i have a datapoint for 49.223, and another data point for 50.641

but i do'nt have a data point for 50.000

i need to do this for the whole plot, not just one point, but be able to show the major tick marks as increments of 50

need help jsp really bad

Double click the axis, it should be self explanatory.

Also, obviously you will need to go to 1000 or your 953.966 data point will not show.

excel is unable to put tick marks at locations where there is no EXACT value

What the hell kind of excel are you using?

You should see this if 2010, or even better if 2013.



Tick marks should have nothing to do with your data points other than range.

Ain't that difficult.

that is not even close to the window i am getting when i format axis




this is for the x-axis btw

not y-axis



also u do'nt need to be a diq about it

from ur post, i am already assuming it is impossible what i am trying to do, or you just do'nt nkow the answer to my question and trying to sound like u do, or you just do'nt have any idea what my question is

This can be done in Excel 2010 in 30 seconds.



Since you have an older version...try changing this to 50.



If that doesn't work, it may not be possible with your version of Excel since it is so outdated. I wouldn't know since I don't remember using that interface.
