Alfonzo's parents are getting him a smartphone for his birthday they need to choose a cell phone plan plan #1 costs 40.00 per month and gets a free phone plan #2 costs 30.00 and have to pay 200$ for a smartphone.
Which is the better deal? Explain using equations and or graphs to support your answer.

Not sure I understood that correctly but:
let x number of months
40x > 30x + 200 iff x > 20
For the first 20 months the first deal is the best, then you start losing money in regard to the second deal.
