So this is a problem on related rates:

The Great Pyramind of Gyza was built at a rate of about 350 metre/day. Assuming that this rate was constant throughout construction, and the pyramid was built from the ground up, how quickly was the height of the pyramid increasing 10 years after its construction began?

Any ideas? I'm totally stumped, this question requires google... for example the dimensions of the pyramid.

that is an incomplete question without knowing dimensions of the blocks at minimum
also, the volume would be nice, base dimensions

definitely is, but the dimension of blocks is not the problem (assuming that regardless of the size they would fit into the construction)
rather need to have some information on the width of the base (assuming square) and the slope
and yes, it seems it needs to be 350 cube (!) meters a day

Yeah, it must be 350m^2/day. I must have missed that. I'm obviously not doing so hot in this class so far =\

Think about it, your building a pyramid, you build 350m^2 a day, you will never finish because a pyramid is a 3d shape....350m^2 would be like, uhh painting a pyramid...

there is another problem as well. How exactly are they building it, like to they form a pyramid at the end of every day? or is it only a pyramid when they are totally done?

Are you just starting this chapter? I think they are overcomplicating this
you don't need a volume if the rate they gave you is the constant rate of change of the height
in that case, in 10 years the rate would still be 350 meters per day.
It looks like, assuming this is the entire problem and you wrote it correctly, this problem is less about related rates and more about function/derivative knowledge
The height is increasing linearly, so the rate will always be the same
im guessing you are all over complicating this and the class will become more complicated
but for right now, im thinking you don't need to build a 3d pyramid, you are only concerned with the rate the height is changing.
