you have been given the equation that describes the rocket's position.

a. projectile hits ground at s(t)=0 , position =0
velocity is derivative of position, find, s'(t) , =velocity(t), velocity function

b. find the parabola's peak

c. acceleration is the derivative of velocity, find s''(t) , or velocity'(t)

d. s(t)=750 will give you time( take first value), for when the rocket is 750 feet

e. look at velocity function

Do I take the derivative of s first, and then try to make it equal 0?

part a ask for 2 things, 2 things answered by 2 separate equations

you have been given the position equation, position equation answers position and timed related questions.

velocity equation answers velocity and time related questions
to get velocity, you must take the derivative of the position
