not sure what is asked in your specific class regarding questions "a"

but to my understanding it is as follows

3a: y=x^2
4a: not a function because (1,-1) and (1,1) give two different values for (the first) 1
5a: y=5 (constant function in my book)

the domain points are the left numbers in each ordered pair, ie (x,y) the x's
the range points are the right numbers in each ordered pair, ie the y's

this ^^^
except I would add, the functions listed are only the simplest examples of a function to get that data (for #3 and #5). There is an infinite number of functions that can produce those results. And of course no function can produce data set 4.

true true
but i guess it proves that the data set can relate to a function
nice try to confuse the op with 'infinite number of functions' though :D

well i think it is an important to realize there are an endless number of functions that can reproduce any given data.
