I underlined some things I'm wondering if i should italicize it. Also is the "A" in and (red) suppose to be lower case? She said to capitalize all important words of the "re:" part... but what determines if its important?

Re: Academic Background And Goals
The purpose of this memo is to have you, the reader, get familiar with me and how my academic path resonates with my long-term goals. My name is -------- I come from a very small town that had very small classes. Thirty people was the size of my graduating class, twenty-nine was the number of people who came to me for computer advice and or help. These small classes created an environment in which everyone knew everything about each other and creating a sort of support system. I found myself being the person you came to for technical help, something I really enjoyed since early that computers would be the path I choose.
It was very hard to determine what profession I would aspire towards within the computers field. During high school I enrolled in two college classes within the computers field in order for me to learn what is out there and what I enjoyed. I took a class that revolved around building computers and another class that revolved around the programs within the computers. Building computers I found extremely fun, but I found that the programming aspect captured me even more. I knew than that enrolling in a Website Programmer / Analyst program would be the program I choose. At present each website development assignment I’ve undergone has been like putting together a puzzle to make a picture. I am very happy that this is the case because now I know that I will enjoy any future job I may come by in this field. I hope to work for a company that has contracts with many other companies and small businesses to make and maintain websites.
My short term goal is to get a job in my field. First I must complete my program, one semester at a time. By the end of this semester I hope to internalize as much information, from each class, as I can in order to build my future. Building my future relies on creating a strong foundation and always being able to realize I can always polish my foundation. I know I struggle with a conveying information in a professional sense and would like to polish it up with what I will learn in Technical Reporting. I also lack a professional resume, something that I will be creating in my It Career class and hope to be able.
Thanks for reading through this. I will be submitting in about 3 hours of posting this, even though its due at midnight.
