How have the advancements of the following changed the U.S. military over time?
1. Ground Warfare Advancements
2. Telecommunications

I'm a little familiar with these topics but i'm lacking historical detail and a good argument.

Is this regarding a particular era, or just in general?

Haha..The change over time. Like how has the two advancements made the US such a strong military today.

Well, for what's it worth, the theme I would stick to is how the world has "shrunk" over time.

Think about it. Advancements in communication have enabled immediate or near-immediate transmission of communication vs the old days where you needed to send someone on horseback or send a carrier pigeon (this is a joke, although they may have actually done this) to relay a message. There is far more "awareness" today about strategy/tactics etc.

The point is military has access to technologies like satellite imagery and GPS today etc etc. You need to cite specific advancements and pioneers of those advancements for whatever course it is you are taking. I'm sure those were outlined in the course.

Rule of 3 always has treated me well. Find 3 advancements in telecommunications and identify 3 instances/events etc where those advancements played a vital part in that event. I'm not sure how extensive the essay you need to write is but that's a start.

Again, think about what you covered in the course and "highlight" those advancements/people associated with those advancements. Try to identify situations where those advancements were applied and what the end result was etc. I hope this helps.
