Can someone explain why aspirin has 21 sigma bonds? I see 18. What is happening to me?!

are you counting the C-H bonds on the methyl group next to the carbonyl?

I got 18 if you leave the methyl group off as well.

I just realized this. Well, I already took my exam so..., oh well. I think I did alright.

Sounds like the acetyl group's Hydrogen weren't previously accounted for indeed.

That guy nlin is right, even though he's drawing-challenged. He deserves some fg man.
