#7 it highlights "two" hours
the boundary of integration should be from 0-2 hrs but its asking for minutes so 0-120

i guess that's a start..

At t=1 both cars have an average velocity of 1500/2 = 750 ft/min
The estimate of the distance travelled (for both cars) in that time is 750*1 = 750 feet

The function is a line.

the y intercept of the line = 30,000
the slope = (30,000-10,000)/(0-30) = -2000/3
f(x) = (-2000x)/3 + 30,000

the price is
=3/10*integral from 0 to 30 of {(-2000x)/3 + 30,000}*dx
=3/10 * [integral from 0 to 30 of {(-2000x)/3}dx +integral from 0 to 30 of {30,000}*dx]
=3/10 * [-2000/3*integral from 0 to 30 of {x} + integral from 0 to 30 of {30,000}*dx]
those are very simple integrals, which lead to the answer of:
=$180,000

guess that will be the answer looked for, because it's supposed to be simple
but to note:
- day zero wouldn't attract a charge in the real world
- fractional space would be charged for
bad choice of example used in the problem because it would be a step-function in reality
