mRNA is synthesized (if you are doing AP, then pre-mRNA), nucleotides are the monomer (AP: nucleoside triphosphates)

sex-linked genes are genes located on the sex chromosomes. The genes for X-linked recessive conditions (e.g. colorblindness, haemophilia) are located on the X chromosome. Since the X chromosome is longer than Y chromosome, in males they only have one copy of certain genes, but in female they have two copies. So if the gene is recessive, male would have the condition if they inherited it, while for female, they need to be homozygous recessive to have the conditions. (AP: mention Hardy-Weinberg as well.)
3. Would a drug that prevents tetrad formation(A), a drug that prevents mitotic spindle(B), a drug that prevents crossing over(C), or a drug that interferes with cellular respiration(D) be more promising as a cancer chemotherapy agent?
B, cancer is uncontrolled cell division, prevention of spindle formation would stop mitosis.
Perhaps the only minor suggestion I have is to specify
ribonucleoside triphosphates instead of just nucleoside triphosphates. Oh, and to point out that the first question wasn't properly formulated.
