1) An automobile wheel has a mass of 22 kg and a diameter of 0.39 m. What is the total kinetic energy of one wheel when the car is traveling at 10 m/s? (Assume the mass is uniformly distributed throughout the wheel.)

heres a hint

We can relate all rotational problems with their translational equivalents

KE = 1/2 mv^2

in rotational

Inertia, I = M

angular velocity, w (omega) = v

KErotational = 1/2 Iw^2
