Which is more reactive Fe2+ or Fe3+ and why?
I have the answer just looking for a simple explaination. The experiment were those reacting with metals if that matters.

the Fe3+ came in Fe(NO3)3 and Fe2+ came in FeSO4 solutions and basically we had to dip some metals in there

Well Fe+2 is more reactive towards metals that are able to be reduce- oxidizing Fe +2 to Fe+3
when its for metals to be oxidized, Fe +3 to Fe+2 should be more reactive.
