Why is f (-2) = -1 = 4
Why is f (-2) = 8 = 12
Why is f (-2) = 3 = -4
Why is f (-2) = -9 = 16

If you can answer these i got a bunch of other questions that are related to polynomials and calculus.
If you can help me for the whole thing i'll pay you 100fg ish.

f(x)=-x^3 (assuming x3 means x at the power of 3) would for -2 result in -8 so that doesn't seem right either

and what is f(-2)=-1=4 supposed to mean? (same with the other lines)

why don't you write the whole question down? start from scratch and also state what you did yourself

Yes as brmv has suggested: what you have posted so far is madness, suggesting a fundamental misunderstanding of what a function is on your part (and perhaps even what an equal sign means....). But that is OK. If you can post the whole problem, we can probably put you back on course.
